Joleen M. Constantis
Principal Designer

Joleen has an innate passion for colour, architecture and design – this is the driving force behind Volumes of Space. With an international design education, including studies in Toronto and Italy, Joleen brings her expansive knowledge and worldly view to each and every project. Beginning her career in the kitchen and bath industry, Joleen has acquired multiple certificates from the National Kitchen and Bath Association. As well, using her extensive experience with renovation construction, Joleen qualified with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing to design for the public under the guidance of the Ontario Building Code (BCIN # 27755). Joleen continues to stay up to date on evolving design regulations, standards and trends by attending industry trade shows, supplier showrooms and galleries, and relevant seminars.

Joleen’s endless energy and enthusiasm for design pushed her to venture into her own business. Her belief that every project, large and small, is worthy of the best design has resulted in a business that offers a full spectrum of services and flexibility for clients. With her broad experience, Joleen is adept at everything from colour consultations to project management for full home renovations. She is meticulous in her attention to detail. Joleen’s creativity is evident in her use of colours and materials to produce unique and personal interiors. Kelly Wilson
Senior Designer

Kelly approaches each new project with a blend of creativity and pragmatism – likely the result of an education and experience that includes both design and business. Kelly has worked in residential interior and architectural design for the past 12 years, originally in Toronto and for the past 5 years in her new hometown of Guelph. Kelly’s diverse experience includes interior design and project management for whole home renovations, architectural design and building permit services for renovations and additions, detailed kitchen and millwork design, and green building science consulting. Kelly is a qualified designer with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (BCIN #38260).

In addition to her work in design, Kelly is also a licensed Realtor® – if it has anything to do with houses, she’s interested! The advantage of this combination of skill sets is two-fold. For her design clients, Kelly can advise on which upgrades will improve resale value. For her real estate clients, Kelly uses her design vision to help them find that diamond in the rough.

While adept in all areas of residential design, Kelly particularly excels at and has an interest in thoughtful and efficient use of space. She believes that bigger does not necessarily mean better, and treats every job, big and small, with the same amount of effort, dedication, and enthusiasm. Kelly likes to bring forward innovative ideas, skillfully guiding her clients through the design process to create the best possible living spaces for both their needs and enjoyment.
