Meet the Team

Joleen M. Constantis
Principal Designer

Joleen’s love of colour, architecture and design was encouraged early on in life and is the driving force behind Volumes of Space. Having studied art and design in both Italy, and Toronto, Joleen has the ability to bring a worldly view to each and every aspect of her design projects.

It was early on in her career in the kitchen and bath industry that allowed Joleen to establish an extensive knowledge of renovation construction, as well as acquire multiple certificates from the National Kitchen and Bath Association. In preparation for the implementation of Bill 124, Joleen completed the accreditation program with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (BCIN # 27755). This accreditation now allows her to design for the public under the guidance of the Ontario Building Code. As current design regulations, standards and trends continue to evolve, Joleen stays on the cutting edge by attending all of the industry trade shows, hottest galleries, and relevant seminars.

A desire to broaden her scope of services throughout the entire home interior pushed her to venture out from the kitchen and bath industry and into her own business. A business offering a full spectrum of design services, from colour consultations to full home renovations. Through her meticulous attention to detail, ability to successfully blend various materials, and creative use of colour, Joleen can assist her individual clients in creating their own personalized interiors. With the help of a highly skilled team of craftspeople and contractors, she has developed a reputation for going above and beyond her clients expectations.

Kelly Wilson

Kelly approaches each new project with a blend of creativity and pragmatism – likely the result of an education and experience that includes both design and business.  Kelly has worked in residential interior and architectural design for the past 10 years, originally in Toronto and for the past 2 years in her new hometown of Guelph. Kelly’s diverse experience includes interior design and project management for whole home renovations, architectural design and building permit services for renovations and additions, detailed kitchen and millwork design, and green building science consulting. Kelly is a qualified designer with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (BCIN #38260).

While adept in all areas of residential design, Kelly particularly excels at and has an interest in thoughtful and efficient use of space.  Kelly enjoys the challenge of small space design and believes that bigger does not necessarily mean better.  As a result, Kelly treats every client and every job, big and small, with the same amount of effort, dedication, and enthusiasm.  Kelly likes to bring forward innovative ideas, skillfully guiding her clients through the design process to create the best possible living spaces for both their needs and enjoyment.
