Belrose Garden

Introducing the Belrose Garden project! This is one project that we really took pride in, as it achieved the perfect balance between neutrality and bold colours. Especially with the jaw-dropping blue, floral wallpaper from Crown Surface Solutions. Everyone agreed, we completely knocked it out of the park with this gorgeous wallpaper in the principal bedroom. To further elevate this space, we added a luxury vinyl and hardwood floor, which provided a rich, warm brown tone. Paired with bright pieces of furniture, it’s hard to deny that the neutral, timeless designs were perfectly balanced by the bold furniture. Speaking of furniture, we were especially impressed with the beautiful soho dresser from Accents for Living in Oakville, in Dune White with Champagne Bronze knobs.

To add personality and character to the principal bedroom, we hung a gallery wall over the dresser. We were able to achieve a cohesive look with matching frame colours, all in various sizes.

We believe that gallery walls offer a great opportunity for homeowners to print and hang their favourite images, while still maintaining a certain aesthetic throughout their home. We mixed and matched a variety of toss cushions for the bed, all made from a range of textures and fabrics, to add a unique flare to the space and really add interest!

Moving into the family room, we kept costs down for this young family with IKEA bookcases that were elevated with an applied crown and furniture base, resulting in a custom-made look.

The client was really drawn to shiplap look throughout the design process, which we knew would look great on the fireplace surround. We opted for a non-combustible quartz sill material, as per the fireplace specifications, which worked out so well because it was the same width as the shiplap boards. The client was thrilled, and so were we!

As we reflect on this project, we realize how truly thankful we are to work with amazing construction professionals that are willing and able to think outside the box. Especially when creating thoughtful solutions to issues that can arise while on the job. Great designs really do start with great construction partners!
