Chambres de Chanel

For this Chanel inspired principal suite and ensuite, our client’s main objective was to gain access from the principal suite to a previously converted spare room, now a glamourous walk-in closet, through the ensuite bathroom.  We used this very practical objective to infuse the entire space in luxurious materials and finishes from top to bottom, transforming it from pretty to Chanel Chic!

In the principal bedroom we added architectural detailing and a floral mural to the feature wall behind the bed frame for added interest.  Wall sconces were added to allow for soft mood lighting, as well as ample bedside surface area for decorative elements and reading material.

We added luxurious bedding from West Elm, and toss cushions from Restoration Hardware, to the client’s tufted Nada bedframe from VanGogh Designs Furniture.  In an effort to curate something completely unique for our clients we collaborated with Highland Woodcraft to create the most exquisite bedside tables and matching dresser.  These pieces were designed with brushed gold accents and curved details in the body of the cabinetry, for a one of a kind finished product.  They perfectly bridge the gap between practical storage and charming beauty.

And if all of that wasn’t enough, we selected a central light fixture and custom-tailored drapery to further accentuate the Chanel theme.  Oh, la, la!

Not only did we add an entry into the walk-in closet from the ensuite, but we also reconfigured the space by removing the corner tub and small shower… to give our clients a larger shower and custom vanity with unique brushed gold accents and functional storage!  We used Oden style plumbing fixtures by Brizo throughout, in their Brilliance Luxe Gold finish, my favorite!  Light fixtures from Matteo Lighting add the glitz and glamour, that make this ensuite the total hotel luxury package.
